Spoiler Warning for Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint and Solo Leveling in the post
I am thinking that one thing that has stopped me from writing is the fear that nothing that I say matters to anyone. I feel that I belong to no group, or fandom, which being a part of has been associated with a sense of purpose and meaning in life.
So I decided to try and think that no matter what I did, as long as I created something, no matter how flawed, there would be someone out there who this would matter to. That everything I did would matter.
I am a bit self-centered which was why I picked the image that I did above. I am incredibly fascinated by my own mind and I wished to understand how I function. It was one of the reasons I joined a psychology degree.
I was trying to think of a way to do research into anime and those who love it but alas, it was proving quite complicated.
However I did find two articles that talked about it and about how Fandom and Fanship are defined and how they are different. A Fanship is an interest in something (ex. “I like anime”) and Fandom is belonging to a group with a selected interest (ex. “I like anime fans”).
Here is the link to the one I mentioned Article 1.
I was also thinking about some series I liked, even those I didn’t see like Moriarty the Patriot, because the characters appear in AMVs.
While looking for images in Pinterest I found one picture of Omniscient Readers Viewpoint that looked interesting. The spoiler warning is for now. I read the novel to the end and am liking the manga but I wonder about the end of the series. I was very confused by it and really questioned the actions of a character I am liking more and more, Han Sooyoung.
Here is a pretty picture bellow.
I thought now that I saw this image about the unhealthy relationships that I’m usually interested in, in anime. I was interested, and still am, in series with master-servant relationships like Hellsing and series like the “Harem of Luhann” and “Men of the Harem” more recently. However, I might leave these topics for a different time.
To finish up, I’d like to leave with a AMV I liked about Solo Leveling – In the Middle of the Night. It seems that if you are in America there might be some problems with the music, but if you want to hear it, it is “In the middle of the night” by Elley Duhé
